Lent Course 2021

Because we can’t get together physically I’m going to try and run our Lent course, using the Diocesan course based on the refreshed God for All vision, on the internet via Zoom.

It will be at 2.00 p.m. on Tuesdays 23rd February, 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd March. Each session will last an hour and I would ask that you have a Bible to hand if you are able to. You can join in by phone if you don’t have a computer or would find it easier.

The details for the first session are:

Sunday 19/04/20

I invite you to join with me and each other at 10.00 to read the Bible, sing a hymn and pray. I’ll be using the following short service:

Psalm 16

Guide me O thou great Redeemer

Acts 2: 14a, 22-32

John 20: 19- end

I’ll be posting similar suggestions each Saturday for use on the Sunday until we are able to meet again together. I know that it is not the same but hope this will be of some use.

With love and prayers,

Rev Eileen

Alleluia. Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

Sadly we cannot meet this morning as we would normally do. Please take some time in prayer and praise to let the world know that Jesus Christ died and rose again for us. Let our voices join with all those around the world to affirm this truth.

Our readings for this morning are: Acts 10: 34-43 and Matthew 28:1-10

Sing Resurrection

I know that many people are upset that, with our churches closed, we will not be able to celebrate together on Easter Day. So why not join with thousands of Christians at 10.00 a.m. to sing 2 very well known hymns, Jesus Christ is risen today followed by Thine be the glory. Churches together in Britain and Ireland are co-ordinating this big sing and more information about it can be found at

You may want to follow their suggestion and video it, or take a photo, whatever you do please do join in and let as many people as you can know about it as well.

If you are struggling to find the words please let Rev Eileen know.

Crosses in Windows

Because we can’t be together at present, why not make a cross and put it in your window? Send a photo of it and we’ll try to publish them on the web site.
If you’ve already put a rainbow up then this would sit nicely beside it. As it says in Genesis 9:13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

Welcome to the Warnell Parishes Web Site

Welcome to the Warnell Parishes web site. The site is still in its infancy and has grown out of our desire to keep in touch with people during the Coronavirus pandemic. We hope that you find within it the information that you are looking for, if not please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Our main purpose in our six churches is to make God known to all as Saviour and Lord.
Even though our church buildings are closed currently we continue to pray regularly and would invite you to follow the link to find out how you can be part of prayer that is going on nationally.
