Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement! An exciting and happy time lies ahead and there will be so much to think about.  Marrying in church is personal, meaningful, spiritual and beautiful, just as you want it to be.

Most Church of England marriages require banns to be read out in church before the wedding can take place. Although a legal requirement, banns can be a special occasion too. The vows that you make are at the heart of your wedding day and have been spoken by millions of couples over the centuries. They cannot be re-written or changed in any way for legal reasons – they are the words of commitment to a shared life that define you as ‘married’.

To plan your wedding at one of our churches, contact Reverend Eileen Reid, the vicar, who will be delighted to hear from you to talk about it.  Her email address is contact@warnellparishes.org.uk
